I enjoyed this more initially, thinking, ‘she has matured a bit as a writer’ as both 786 and 788 are quite early books. But thematically they are all the same – white collar crime, Warshawski gets romantically involved with a character who turns out to be baddie, plot twists, all resolved etc. the last of the 3 I own – maybe try a later one one day.
