994. Freya Berry - The Dictator's Wife


I didn’t read this very well – too much good sport on the TV, so only a short read in bed at night.

Quite good, but a bit overcomplicated by the heroine’s early life and its interaction with the dictator’s wife. I also found the idea of three expensive London lawyers travelling to a fictional central European country to defend the ex-dictator’s wife implausible – language, knowledge of local law??

Not bad, but not that good.
