992. Reginald Hill - An Advancement Of Learning

I have read this before, and it is interesting about the early relationships between Dalziel & Pascoe, and Pascow & Ellie, not yet married. Also the introduction of Franny Roote, a recurring malevolent rogue throughout the series. Set in a higher education college, but with such an implausible plot and too many peripheral characters, that I found it hard to follow and not hugely enjoyable.
