Very good, quite difficult, and very different. Most of it is 200 audio files created by a dyslexic (I think?) and semi-literate ex-con about events starting in his childhood and culminating in events in his 20s that lead to his imprisonment. Possibly an elaborate attempt to lead his son to some gold bullion that he ended up with after the robbery that led to his imprisonment.
Very hard to follow at times, as unclear often who is speaking and written in a deliberately semi-literate style.
The whole story is embroidered around a children's author, Miss Twyford, a 1930’s Enid Blyton lookalike, who may have been a British or possibly German spy, embedding code into her books. Miss Isles, a key character, always appears as missiles.
I will re-read, as the next meeting is not until late June.
