965. Richard Osman - The Man Who Died Twice


I didn’t enjoy the first of these, I think called ‘The Thursday Murder Club’. But that is because I didn’t understand the genre. This is Enid Blyton for the middle/old aged- the Famous Five repositioned 50+ years forward in time. Once you understand this, it is very good.

Complex and fast-moving plot, characters totally stereotyped, but a well-paced and readable story.
