852. Paul Ferguson - Killing The Dead

This must have been a present from one of the kids, as it has sat in my bookcase for years and I have no memory of having read it before.

Writing poor, but plot gripping, villain is a Hollywood wannabe, whose film scripts involve the murder of already dead celebrities. Faced with constant rejection, he begins to replicate these murders with real people.

So his victims are people named (possibly at birth only) Marilyn Monroe, Jesus Christ (a homeless down and out who is crucified), Martin Luther King and Joan of Arc, who survives, being the heroine.

A good read, if you want a low grade thriller! (I have read it before, it is no.173).
