Don’t know where this came from, possibly one of my Dad’s? Don’t think I have read it, or any of her (many) books before.
About a female private eye (or lawyer) Sharon McCone, based in San Francisco. I couldn’t really work out whether I liked this book, well written, but I found it hard to relate to any of the characters (all a bit characterless). About a murder and a false conviction more than 41 years before it was written.
Wouldn’t rush to buy more.
