757. Peter Robinson - Careless Love

I have read this before (published 2018) and it is good. The thing that irritates me about the later Banks books is that Banks has turned into a bit of an intellectual and cultural snob; every glass/bottle of wine has its expensive and highly desirable provenance articulated, ditto music and to a lesser extent poetry. But the guy is a policeman, and this is a diversion. Leaving this grouse aside this is a good book, although I found an unresolved plot diversion, involving Zelda, Annie’s father's new and glamorous partner, another female focus for Banks, annoying. Maybe the plot strand is picked up in the next book?
