754. Peter Robinson - Dry Bones That Dream

Felt like a Peter Robinson after all these rather difficult books. He is probably my favourite detective novelist, and the earlier books, of which this is one, are probably the best.

Brilliant plotting; an accountant is apparently found murdered in his garage, but it slowly transpires that this man had at least 2 identities, and once this becomes clear, it may be that he is not the murderee (although I had read the book before and I think it has been televised, which may have helped me to disentangle the plot). Banks is basically on his own in this book and the gradual disintegration of his marriage is well caught.
