742. John Le Carré - Smiley's People

This I think is the 3rd book in a trilogy which ends with Smiley trapping Karla’s daughter who has been smuggled into Europe clandestinely. I am sure the long TV adaptation ended like this. I did find it had dated and quite hard work to read, rather to my surprise (was trying to find a different book, but can’t find it on the bookcase). A bit disappointed; I thought you could pick these books up anytime.
