70. Neil Young - Waging Heavy Peace

(Requested) Xmas present from my son D. I enjoyed it in the end; found it difficult at first as:

  1. I was expecting a linear narrative

  2. Some of NY's interests (eg toy trains) I don't share

  3. There was a lot of idolatry of 'So & so', (some friend or co-musician I had never heard of) and what a great guy they were, etc.

But it grew on me and was a great book just to dip into with no real expectations.

He was and probably remains a huge hippie and he has found the growing up process quite difficult. Well, haven't we all. Thanks Neil, as he would say.
