67. Sebastian Faulks - A Possible Life

Tim O'Brien

Described as a novel, this is really five short stories, with obscure (if at all) thematic interlinkings.

The best was the last one, but maybe I only enjoyed it because it was about sex and drugs and rock and roll.

The first was also very good, about a nondescript Englishman conscripted into the army in WW2, is captured and ends up working in a concentration camp, returns to the UK post-war, and continues his nondescript life.
