664. Ed McBain - Long Time No See

A midnight flit downstairs to find a book having finished 663 at 83% on the kindle; an annoying habit of the modern publishing industry to short change readers and cram in some junk about the next book you might like to buy.

I don’t think I have read a McBain for years but he and this one in particular are very good – this one being about the apparent serial killing of some blind people in New York, but of course it is not that simple and, no pun intended, the latter 2 killings are ‘blinds’ to disguise motive.

Very cleverly put together, although the interpretation of the dream scene, on which the solution depends, is challenging! But very good, well written and constructed.
