A library book of P’s. It is quite a slight book, with a heroine lacking in character and very reactive, although P says that girls were brought up that way.

This poor girl, whose sexuality was undefined, was firstly seduced and made pregnant by a teenage boyfriend and after giving the baby away for adoption and getting a job in a girl’s school was seduced by a senior teacher, who treated the heroine as a rather conventional ‘mistress’ while continuing to live with and not disclose her female partner, another teacher.

The heroine flees to another job as I think a classroom assistant and while sorting out a young boy after a fall in the year is reminded of her abandoned son.

Well written but slight.
