This is very good as well; begins with three (or four if you include Brodie’s family history) totally different cases which link up slowly via Jackson’s investigations, although they remain disparate. His 2nd wife Julie is introduced, initially as a child, as case no.1 (in which she figures) happened in the early 1970’s when she was a child (she is prominent, offstage but in Brodie’s mind, in 628).
