The first of the Slough House novels, possibly my 3rd read but they are so good and improve every time.
This begins with River’s disastrous (set up) Kings Cross debacle, but once the rest of the characters are introduced the main plot is the kidnapping of Hassan by the far right, disguised (or the other way round) by MI5.
Very good (again) and with repeated reading you pick up things the plot was too complex to be noticed first time round (like the origin of Lamb’s presence in Slough House).
Very good as ever.
