584. Josephine Tey - To Love And Be Wise

Never read any of her books, but heard them recommended on the radio.

I thought this was very good, beautifully written, clever plotting and an attractive uncomplicated policeman Grant (of the yard).

Quite a gentle book, in fact no crime took place, so in a way another red herring. But very enjoyable – I have bought another better known, 'The Daughter of Time'.
