This one is very Ed McBain police procedural. You get to know a lot of Beck's colleagues a lot better.

Child sex murderer loose in Stockholm. Read it as a good quality non-US/UK police procedural. (Beck himself is not a very interesting character - his friend and colleague Kullberg has more about him. But maybe Beck's dullness is deliberate).
