527. Patricia Highsmith - Deep Water


Struggled to get into this, but it is a cleverly written portrait, not so much of a psychopath but of a disintegrated marriage which leads to the murders of at least 2 of the wife’s lovers by her husband, who disguises his behaviour by a veneer of (slightly) eccentric respectability.

Good, but I am not sure I would want to read many more.
