This is a good book but I found it slightly annoying because the plot is structurally very similar to 505 - adult woman drawn back into reunion with school friends in a plot full of duplicity and lies.
This is the 2nd consecutive book to have echoes of 'The Mill on the Floss' - 507 opens with 2 people, one called Tom, nearly drowning and 508 ends with an incestuous brother and sister dying in a fire in the house right on the sea edge, as the sea swirls around their friends.
Similarly girly to 506; a new genre chic lit crime? But a good read.
