468. Arnaldur Indridason - Outrage

I have read this before, but wanted a light book to counterbalance Jane Austen.

Reminded me thematically of Louise Penny, in that the origins of the crime lie a long way in the past and at a geographical distant location from its commission (Rekjavik).

A serial rapist is murdered, apparently by his victim but she is so full of Rohipnol that she remembers nothing. Investigated by Elinbourg the nice female detective who doubles up as a chef cookery writer.

Good, if not one of his best.
