412. Louise Penny - The Cruelest Month


Running low on books, but this was worth a re-read. The one about the séance in the old Hadley house in Three Pines.

Having read it before, I had more space to take in the richness of the characterisation, but also the extent of the not very well structured back-drop of the Arnot case, which dominates so many of the next few books. I don’t think she really handles this very well, but she is such a great writer that most can be forgiven.
