These are pretty good; read most of the series may years ago and this is no.1.
Very public school, post Evelyn Waugh but well written, the characters are interesting and the plot line quite interesting. I think the eponymous Fielding Gray is the hero throughout; here he is still at school and experimenting with his sexuality, with fairly disastrous results.
We used to own a whole series of these, but I think the rest have been thrown out. I would read some more if I could access them easily - not on kindle at present, but I have put in a request to messrs Amazon. We will see.
