Hard to comment on this. Of course as a cricket fan, interested to read his book. But it is such an apologia for KP, and such a self-centred book, that it was hard to take it seriously.
You cannot make quite this may enemies and be the innocent abroad, as Pietersen tries to depict himself. OK, you can have problems with your coach Andy Flower (who may or may not have been a good coach), your wicketkeeper Matt Prior, most of the bowlers in the team, past and present captains, but it is unlikely that they are all collectively conspiring against you.
As he says towards the end ‘There should be more cricket in these pages [in fact there is virtually none], but there was story that had to be told’.
It would be interesting to hear some of the other people’s stories.
