245. Martin Windrows - The Owl Who Liked Sitting On Caesar

Paddy liked this; I found it hard work.

A true story about a man who ‘adopts’ as a pet a tawny owl. The owl’s death at the end was upsetting, they had forged a very close bond, but otherwise there wasn’t a great deal other than anecdotes to say, and the book was padded with a lot of data about owls in general.

Could have done without this but that would have made a very short book!
