2. Jo Nesbo - The Snowman


Billed as the next Steig Larsson. Not sure about this.

Very long complex plot, set in Norway. Bit of a chiller really, and hence not my thing. Very gruesome deaths.

The detective, improbably called 'Hole', is a bit of an action hero, although as fucked up personally as most fictional detectives.

Would read another one, probably on holiday, given length (over 600 pages, same as no.1 above).
