176. Albert Camus - The Outsider

Don’t know what prompted me to re-read this. It is very short, and I wasn’t feeling well when I read it and wrote the above.

It is actually a wonderful book. Beautifully constructed like a piece of classical (? not sure) architecture, rising to an apex midway way through and then descending symmetrically in a mirror image over the 2nd half. It reminded me in some respects of Graham Greene.
