15. R.J. Ellory - The Anniversary Man


Ellory is close to being one of my favourite writers.

Relatively, this is a bit of a pot boiler; the eponymous anniversary man baffles the New York (?) cops by copying in date and detail serial killings of the past, where the actual perpetrator is either in jail or dead.

A good conceit but the book lacks substance.
