Tim O'Brien

121. Peter Robinson - All The Colours Of Darkness

Wanted to re-read this as it is the one that precedes 'Bad Boy' and I had forgotten bits of the plot, which is 'Othello' transposed into a gay relationship, interspersed with the power and corruption of the UK security services!

Annie Cabbott, who is a character I like, features prominently; it is post her relationship with Banks, who has a new and rather silly girlfriend (yes, she ditches him at the end, although he does wonder, unlike Othello, whether he has been misled by a sign).

I would like to re-read his most recent book, which at first reading I didn’t much like.

My kindle died, I hope temporarily at this point, but luckily I have brought a paperback edition of the largest book I could find on the bookcase at home.
