Brilliant. Robinson is a bit like a velvet coat; you slip into his prose and feel immediately comfortable with the nuances.
I think I have read them all before but had forgotten how good this one is; Banks' daughter Tracey, just a child in all the earlier books, now a young woman, gets caught up with a good looking hoodlum, kidnapped etc.
Annie Cabbott gets shot by bad guy which reminds her and Banks of their fondness for each other; there is a great gay female police marksman (?) who saves Banks and the day.
