Another Ian Rankin for Edinburgh, although finished this back home.
The mid-phase books are a bit similar; this one features mainly immigrants being exploited by a variety of criminal gangs in Edinburgh. Again the detailed geography is fantastic; you can read it with a map of the city and follow the characters’ locations along a street you walked along a little earlier.
Plot was a bit predictable, but I wouldn’t normally read two Rankins in close succession.
