1057. Ian Rankin - Dead Soul

Very good to read Ian Rankin in Edinburgh, where we now are, as the books are so heavily located here and you can follow the plot geography with a map and locate where the events are set in a street you have just walked down!

I have read this before, and it is the one where Rebus starts by outing a paedophile, tries to help an old girlfriend whose son has disappeared, and is pursued, for reasons unclear, by a homicidal maniac who has been released from jail in the US.

Quite a good book, but brought it here due to our holiday location rather than any great desire to re-read it.
