Tim O'Brien

1046. John Boyne - The Echo Chamber

I quite enjoyed this.

A comedy about a wealthy and overprivileged family in contemporary London, George a TV presenter having an affair with his therapist, Beverly a successful novelist also having an affair with her Ukrainian dance partner on ‘Strictly’, and three children Nelson, Elizabeth and Achilles, all a bit fucked up in different ways.

It is a few days since I read it due to some computer issues and I can’t remember much of interest to say about it. P thought it was a bit like Kingsley Amis.

Wouldn’t rush to re-read it.
