1030. Lucy Worsley - Agatha Christie

I really enjoyed her book about Jane Austen, but found this a bit dull. Having no interest in Agatha Christie or her books probably didn’t help. Seems to me that she was quite a boring, conventional, middle-class Englishwoman. Obviously wrote prolifically, but mainly to fund her extravagant lifestyle. Her famous disappearance merited a chapter, but even this didn’t interest me much. I might have enjoyed it more had she linked the biography to the books, but she didn’t very actively; perhaps because the books aren’t that interesting.
