Got this as a Kindle book for nothing (needed a break from no.11 below).
A detective story with a very poorly characterised cop, which turned into a horror story, apparently 'natural' murders proving, in fact, to be supernatural.
Quite clever as the assumption is that they will appear supernatural at first and then turn out to be natural [some natural confusion here, it seems!].
Apparently, the author farms in Scotland and writes a book when he gets bored!
